40000l Rainwater Harvesting system for a factory in Durban
Posted by Use-Rainwater Admin on
Our installation team did a 40000l rainwater harvesting system for a factory in Durban. Rainwater is recovered off a 1100sqm roof and channelled down into two WISY WFF150 rainwater filters where the water is screened (all items bigger that 80 micron is removed) and the clean water is directed to the four 10000l interconnected tanks. The rainwater in the tanks are purified with our 4 step purification process and used a plant and process water. The process water feeds the boilers and cooling systems and the plant water is used for manufacturing personal and homecare products .
Industrial water prices in Durban will increase by 17% in July. The project has a payback period of three and a half years.
