The automated municipal water top up system comes pre-configured ready for installation onto your backup water or rainwater tank.

It consists of 22mm fittings

• Stainless steel isolation valve
• Automatic float switch 
• Solenoid valve 
• Cabling 

It works as follows:

When your tank reaches a certain level the float switch will activate the 220V solenoid valve. The vale will discharge and top up the rainwater or backup water tank to a set level. The float switch will that deactivate the solenoid valve and close the water supply to the tank at a certain level.

It is a low maintenance system and you never have to get into the tank to repair it. 

The water supply also never comes into contact with the water in the tank - keeping a physical air gap - thus no requirement for a backflow preventer valve
